If you're tempted to join the Free The Nipple movement but not quite brave enough to bare it all, a new bikini brand provides a happy compromise.
Designed by Chicago-based feminists Robyn Graves and Michelle Lytle, the TaTa Top is a skin colored bikini adorned with nipples, giving the very convincing illusion of toplessness.
The cheeky swimwear, which comes in its original nude hue as well as medium and dark skin tones, costs $28 per top, with $5 of each sale put towards a breast cancer research foundation.

Iraqi insurgents executed at least 160 prisoners in just four days in the northern city of Tikrit, according to a human rights group which cited analysis of satellite imagery and shocking photographs released by the militants.
The U.S.-based Human Rights Watch said militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) killed between 160 and 190 men in two locations in Tikrit between June 11 and June 14.
'The number of victims may well be much higher, but the difficulty of locating bodies and accessing the area has prevented a full investigation,' it said.
After overrunning large swaths of northern Iraq and capturing the cities of Mosul and Tikrit earlier this month, the Islamic extremist group posted graphic photos on a militant website that appeared to show fighters loading dozens of captured soldiers onto flatbed trucks.
They were then forced them to lie in a shallow ditch with their hands tied behind their backs. A final set of photos shows bodies piled up.
Peter Bouckaert, emergencies director at Human Rights Watch, said in a statement: 'The photos and satellite images from Tikrit provide strong evidence of a horrible war crime that needs further investigation.'

영국 런던의 25km의 하수터널 사업에 대한 세계의 투자자들이 한자리에 모였다.
태풍시 테임즈강을 오염시키는 것을 주목적으로 하는 이 사업은 약 70억불이 소요될 것으로 예상하고 있으며 올 가을에 정부승인이 떨어지면 2016년에나 착수가 가능하다.

London Water Utility Seeks Investors for $7-Billion Sewer

London's water utility invited international investors on June 10 to help finance, through a newly created special-purpose company, the estimated $7-billion tunnel program that will prevent polluted storm overflows from tainting the River Thames.
Work on the 25-kilometer-long tunnel is due to start in 2016, subject to final government approvals that are expected this fall.
Privately owned utility Thames Water already has short-listed construction bidders for three construction packages covering the whole project. It aims to announce the successful bidders and the financing deal early next year.
While Thames Water is promoting the project through its subsidiary Thames Tideway Tunnel Ltd. (TTT), the government and the Water Services Regulation Authority—known as OFWAT—have agreed to have the scheme procured by a stand-alone "infrastructure provider" (IP).
The IP will be required to invest around $1.7 billion in equity and raise the balance through loans of various sorts.
However, because the project is perceived as potentially risky, the government has agreed to offer the IP some financial guarantees to provide comfort to lenders. "We've already had a lot of interest from investors," notes Mike Gerrard, TTT's managing director.
The proposed tunnel will run from Acton, in the western part of the city, to Abbey Mills pumping station, which is close to the east London site of the 2012 Olympic Games. From there, it will flow along the Lee Tunnel, now being built, to the Beckton sewage treatment plant.
With diameters ranging from 6.5 meters to 7.2 m, the tunnel will follow the River Thames over 60 m below its bed in places.
To build the tunnels, TTT has divided work into contracts covering the east, west and central sections; the contracts have a combined value of up to $3.9 million. The company last year short-listed a number of international joint ventures to bid for each contract. enr.construction |
춘천~화천 간 국도 5호선 확포장사업 구간

그동안 지연되어왔던 '춘천~화천 간 국도 5호선 확포장사업'이 발주될 전망이다.
원주국토관리청은 25일 오후 2시 춘천시 사북면사무소에서 춘천∼화천 국도5호선 도로 확장사업과 관련해 주민설명회를 가졌다.
이번 주민설명회에서는 최적 노선이 제시됐으며 최종 노선은 내년 5월에 확정될 예정이며 개통 예정시기는 2021년으로 계획되어있다.
사업 구간은 춘천시 서면 오월리 춘천댐∼화천군 화천읍 하리 간 19.7㎞다.

2013년 연비 적합조사 결과, 12개 차종은 기준에 적합하였고, 현대차 싼타페·쌍용차 코란도스포츠는 기준에 부적합함을 확인하였다.
싼타페(2.0 2WD, 제작일 : ‘12.5.16일~)의 복합연비는 신고치 대비 - 8.3%(도심 -8.5%, 고속 -7.2%)인 것으로 조사되었으며, 코란도스포츠(2.0 4WD, 제작일 : ‘12.1.12~’13.12.31)의 복합연비는 신고치 대비 - 10.7%(도심 -10.7%, 고속 -8.8%)인 것으로 조사되었다.
국토교통부에서는 자동차관리법에 따라 제작사가 자동차를 판매하기 전에 사전 신고한 연비에 대하여 사후검증을 실시하고 있다.
2002년까지 전체 자동차에 대해 연비 형식승인 및 사후관리를 실시하였고, 2003년 자기인증제도로 전환 이후 버스·화물차 등 중·대형차 위주로 연비를 사후관리 하고 있다.
2012년 미국에서 현대기아차의 연비 관련 대규모 리콜*로 인해 연비가 정확한지에 대한 소비자 관심이 높아지고, 연비 불만신고 증가*에 따라 2013년에 승용차에 대한 연비검증도 시행하였다.
2013년 연비검증 대상은 매년 실시하는 자기인증적합조사* 대상차량으로 하였으며, 복합연비 10개 차종, 정속연비 4개 차종 등 총 14개 차종을 조사하였다.
복합연비* 조사대상은 K3, K9, 카렌스, 트랙스, 큐브, 싼타페, 캠리 등 승용 7개 차종과 라보, 포터Ⅱ, 코란도스포츠 등 화물 3개 차종이며, 정속연비**조사대상은 봉고3, 트라고 등 화물 2개 차종과 레스타, 오텍스타랙스구급차 등 승합 2개 차종임
국토교통부는 금번 연비조사결과에 따라 자동차관리법에서 정한 과징금을 부과할 계획이며, 해당 자동차제작사는 부적합 사실 등을 자동차소유자에게 공개하여야 한다고 밝혔다.
만약, 제작사가 사실공개 등을 하지 않게 되면 국토부는 연비부적합 사실을 공개하도록 시정명령을 할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
국토교통부는 금일 발표된 「자동차 연비 중복규제 개선방안」에 따라 향후 모든 자동차에 대하여 엄격한 측정방법과 판정기준을 적용하여 연비 사후관리를 철저히 시행할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
