일식과 월식 

달이 태양을 일부 가리면 일식, 완전히 가리면 개기일식이라고 

하는데 이때는 낮인데도 밤처럼 어두워진다. 

일식의 구조

태양, 지구, 달이 순서대로 나란히 서게 되는 경우가 있다. 이럴 때는 지구의 

그림자 때문에 달이 보이지 않거나 희미하게 보인다. 

이것을 월식(月蝕,)이라고 한다.
