DMG 모리(DMG MORI)가 자율이동로봇(AGV) 중심의 미래형 스마트공장을 선보였다고 ‘로보틱스앤오토메이션’이 보도했다.
이 회사는 독일 최대 절삭기 공구 제조업체로 컴퓨터수치제어(CNC) 선반 및 밀링 기계를 제조한다.

DMG MORI is showcasing its futuristic smart factory. The company is said to be Germany’s largest manufacturer of cutting machine tools and a manufacturer of CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines.
DMG MORI says it has strengthened its Deckel Maho Pfronten location, in southern Germany. In the new, 4,000 sq m monoBLOCK Excellence Factory, DMG MORI is now producing up to 1,000 machine tools per year with a future-oriented assembly concept.
The heart of the “ultra-modern cycle assembly” is a driverless automated guided vehicles (AGV) transport system. The high process efficiency ensures maximum customer benefit.
Christian Thönes, CEO of DMG MORI, says: “Investing in innovations is the only way out of the crisis. We are therefore also automating and digitizing our internal value chain.”
Michael Horn, member of the board at DMG MORI, says: “Our new monoBLOCK Excellence Factory in Pfronten already shows today what production will look like tomorrow. We are consistently aligning our locations with the production of the future using modern automation and digitization solutions.”

보도에 따르면 DMG 모리는 독일 남부 데켈 마호 프론텐에 있는 4000㎡ 규모의 모노블록 엑설런스 팩토리를 미래 지향적 조립 컨셉으로 전환, 연간 최대 1000대의 공작기계를 생산하게 됐다.
초현대식 사이클 조립의 핵심은 운전자 없는 자율이동 로봇(AGV)시스템으로서 높은 처리 효율성은 고객의 이익을 최대한 보장한다.
크리스티안 퇴네스 DMG 모리 최고경영자(CEO)는 “혁신에 투자하는 것이 위기를 탈출하는 유일한 방법이다. 따라서 내부 가치사슬도 자동화 및 디지털화 하고 있다”고 말했다.

AGV는 이 새로운 모노블록 엑설런스 팩토리에서 기계를 연속해서 분당 45mm의 속도로 이동시킨다. DMG모리의 모노블록 5축 가공 센터의 전체 모델 조합은 34 사이클로 생성된다.
이 혁신적 컨셉은 생산 능력을 30%까지 증가시켜, 이제 기계 공구 시리즈의 고객별 솔루션 1000대를 현장에서 제작할 수 있다. DMG 모리는 보다 효율적인 생산에 대한 비용 절감 효과를 고객에게 직접 전달한다.
모든 조립 단계에서 모노블록 엑설런스 팩토리 직원들은 특별히 개발된 튤립 앱(Tulip App)을 통해 디지털 정보, 이미지 및 비디오를 지원받는다.
이 회사의 SW는 프로그래밍 지식이 없는 사용자도 빠르고 직관적으로 자신만의 애플리케이션을 만들 수 있게 해 준다. 또한 대화형 체크 리스트와 테스트 계획서는 일관된 최고 품질 표준을 제공하기 위해 전체 조립 공정을 실시간으로 문서화한다. 현재 DMG모리의 직원 1570명의 직원 가운데 125명이 프론텐에 근무하고 있다.
