美 증시도 순환매 장세…낙폭 컸던 건설·항공주↑

페이스북·테슬라는 조정

     미국에서도 기술주가 약세를 보이는 가운데 그동안 낙폭이 컸던 산업재, 건설, 항공 업종이 반등하고 있다. 낙폭이 컸던 업종 중심으로 순환매 장세가 펼쳐질 전망이다.

10일(현지시간) 뉴욕증시에서 건설기계업체 캐터필러는 5.29% 오른 142.02달러에 마감했다. 석유화학회사 엑슨모빌도 2.46% 올랐다. 미국 교통안전국(TSA)이 발표한 미국 공항 이용객 수가 코로나19 이후 최고치를 기록했다는 소식에 MGM리조트(13.77%) 델타(7.95%) 아메리칸에어라인(7.44%) 보잉(5.52%) 등 여행, 항공 관련주도 급등했다.

반면 테슬라(-2.35%) 아마존(-0.61%) 페이스북(-2.03%) 마이크로소프트(-1.99%) 등 대형 기술주는 하락했다. 나스닥지수도 0.39% 내린 10,968.36에 장을 마쳤다. 코로나19 이후 유동성만으로 증시가 상승한 데 대한 부담으로 대형 기술주의 주가 조정이 이뤄졌다는 분석이다. 증권업계는 업종별 순환매 장세가 이어질 것으로 보고 있다.

강봉주 메리츠증권 연구원은 “‘포스트 코로나’ 주도주는 기업 실적 개선폭보다 밸류에이션 상승폭이 더 컸다”며 “기존 주도주의 추가 상승보다는 최근 이익 전망치가 개선된 종목 중 주가가 덜 오른 종목 중심으로 순환매가 지속될 것”이라고 예상했다.
