Saudi Arabia’s Royal Commission for Riyadh City – formally known as Riyadh Development Authority – will launch the Riyadh Sustainable City Symposium to be held on on 12-13 November at King Fahd National Library in the presence of more than 60 international experts from international academic and research institutions, who are gathering to discuss the future of Riyadh as a sustainable city.

The symposium will address climate change issues, sustainable urban development, conservation of the natural environment, resource management, energy conservation, production and management, and discussion of legal frameworks and initiatives to support positive change.

The two-day forum will also highlight four projects in Riyadh launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud that is in line with the initiative of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
