삼강엠앤티,1,100억원 규모 덴마크 외르스테드(Orsted) 대만 해상풍력 사업 수주

   한국중견기업연합회는 회원사 삼강엠앤티가 세계 1위 해상 풍력개발 기업으로부터 1100억원 규모의 계약을 수주했다고 6일 밝혔다. 

삼강엠앤티는 덴마크 외르스테드(Orsted)와 약 1126억원 규모의 대만 해상풍력 발전기 하부구조물 공급 계약을 체결했다. 계약에 따라 삼강엠앤티는 2021년 4월까지 900MW 규모의 대만 서부 창화현 풍력단지에 28개 풍력발전기 하부구조물(Jacket)과 트랜지션 피스(Transition Piece)를 공급하게 된다. 

대만 정부는 2030년 완공을 목표로 대규모 해상풍력 발전단지 조성 사업을 추진하고 있다. 총 230억달러가 투자되며 5.5GW 규모의 1차 사업은 2025년 완료된다.

 이번 계약에 따른 공급이 원활히 이뤄질 경우 향후 추가 수주 가능성도 열려있다. 

송무석 삼강엠앤티 회장은 "조선·해양 산업 불황은 피할 수 없는 경제 상황의 상수가 아닌 맞서 싸워 뛰어넘어야 할 도전"이라며 "확대되는 글로벌 해상 풍력 시장을 적극적으로 개척해 수출 활력을 높이고 양질의 일자리를 크게 늘려 신음하는 지역경제의 회복과 대한민국 경제 재도약의 견고한 발판을 다지는 데 기여할 것"이라고 밝혔다. 

삼강엠앤티는 지난 1월에도 벨기에 해저 준설 및 매립 전문기업 JDN과 600억 원 규모의 해상풍력 하부구조물 21기 공급 계약을 체결한 바 있다.
