   두바이의 걸프교통전시회 기간 중 메나지역에서는 처음으로 무인 자동로봇주차시스템이 설치됐다.

독일 그린파킹사에 의해 개발된 이 로봇 주차시스템은 자동으로 주차와 출고가 가능하다.

발레 주차가 필요없을 뿐더러 모바일 전용앱으로 접속이 가능하다.

모바일앱은 운전자가 차를 출고하기 전에 준비와 대기시간을 사전에 예약할 수 있다.

이 시스템은 주차시설 운영자에 비용을 절감시키고 이익을 창출시키는 효과가 있다.

GreenParking unveils automated parking robot

GreenParking launched the Parking Robot System for the first time in the MENA region during the Gulf Traffic exhibition in Dubai. 

Developed in Germany, the Parking Robot is based on an intelligent forklift system that can both park and retrieve cars automatically.

In addition to eliminating the need for valets, the system can also accessed through a dedicated mobile application. This enables users to call up their vehicles in advance, ensuring that their car is ready and waiting the moment they exit the building.

Commenting on the Parking Robot platform, Sam Alawiye, CEO at Green Parking, shared: “The special forklift system parks cars according to length of stay, increases the capacity of car parks by up to 60% and replaces valet parking services completely.”

He added: “The increased parking spaces mean ultimate cost effectiveness for the car park operators and the end user enjoys peace of mind, knowing that their vehicle is in safe hands.”

The CEO went on to explain that the platform boasts a number of cost and sustainability benefits to operators and owners of parking garages.

These include reduced carbon emissions, as a result of removing traffic congestion, as well the energy savings brought on from minimal lighting and ventilation requirements.

An operator and supplier of sustainability technologies in parking management, GreenParking was recently ranked eight out of 100 at the Dubai SME 100 last November. It was recognised as a top performing SME operating within the emirate.
