Senior intelligence officials said Abdelhamid Abaaoud, 27, was killed by French police commandos when a flat was raided in the early hours of yesterday. During the ferocious gun battle Europe's first woman suicide bomber - named unofficially as Abaaoud's cousin Hasna Aitboulahcen - blew herself up. More than 100 heavily armed officers stormed the apartment in the run-down suburb of Saint-Denis after intelligence suggested Abaaoud was holed up with other terrorists.
