A new furry feline has joined the ranks of internet cat royalty, thanks to his perpetually shocked face. Banye, an 11-year-old British Shorthair from China, follows in the footsteps (or should we say, paws) of Grumpy Cat and Angry Cat with his own moniker: Surprised Cat.
Thanks to his wide eyes and a patch of dark fur strategically grown beneath his mouth, Banye has amassed a large following after his owner, Shanghai-based winnnie, posted photos of him on the Pinterest-like site Duitang. Scroll down for video

Ms Ozkok devoted a Flickr album to her unusual-looking cat at the suggestion of her son, and it has been viewed more than 52,000 times. In the images, Garfi sports a variety of whimsical accessories, such as a black-and-white striped knit cap and a lavender headband adorned with a flower.
