한국 참여 카타르, PVC (poly vinyl chloride) 플랜트 프로젝트 입찰 동향

입찰마감일 연장

 

   국영기업 Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco)가 카타르 산업도시 메사이드(Mesaieed)에서 추진하는 PVC (poly vinyl chloride) 플랜트 프로젝트의 입찰마감일이 2021.3.31로 연장됐다.

동 프로젝트는 5억불 규모에 공사기간은 3년으로 예상되며, 공사범위는 다음과 같다.

 

- Construction of electrolysis unit

- Construction of chlorination unit

- Construction of ethylene dichloride (EDC) purification unit

- Construction of additional warehouses

- Construction of allied utilities

- Construction of stripping unit

- Construction of storage tank

- Installation of drier

- Installation of silos

- Installation of centrifuge

- Installation of a polymerisation reactor

- Installation of EDC cracker

- Installation of related machinery

 

동 프로젝트의 입찰마감일은 지난 해 5월 입찰초청장이 최초로 발부된 이후 계속 연장되고 있으며, PQ를 통과한 기업은 다음과 같다.

 

- CTCI Corporation (대만)

- 삼성엔지니어링 (대한민국)

- 현대건설 (대한민국)

- Maire Tecnimont (이탈리아)

- Wison Engineering (중국)

- Tecnicas Reunidas (스페인)

 

 

Qapco는 석유와 천연가스에서 파생된 기본 플라스틱 폴리머인 LDPE (Low-density polyethylene)의 세계 최대 생산업체 중 하나이다.

 

주요 설비로 연간 840,000톤의 생산능력을 가진 에틸렌공장이 있으며, 총 생산능력이 연간 780,000톤 이상인 3개의 LDPE 플랜트와 연간 70,000 톤의 유황 플랜트를 운영하고 있으며, Industries Qatar가 80%, 프랑스의 Total이 20% 지분을 가진 회사이다.

 

한편, Industries Qatar는 QP (Qatar Petroleum)가 51%의 지분을 가지고 있는 자회사로 석유화학, 비료, 철강산업을 중심으로 투자하는 카타르의 대표 기업이다.
