An investigation into false positive coronavirus test results at nursing homes is the latest reason legislators are again pushing the governor for answers.
The lab handling most of the South Korean coronavirus test kits the state purchased months ago has stopped using them amid the investigation, the I-Team reported Thursday.

This has been an expensive deal. Now there are concerns about the reliability of the tests.
In April, Gov. Larry Hogan called his secret deal to buy 500,000 coronavirus tests from a South Korean company a game-changer in the fight against the pandemic.
Five months later, less than the half of the tests have been used, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, lab that had most of the remaining tests is no longer using them. The lab is investigating false positive results at nursing homes.
