이태리 시민들, 마스크 착용 백신 접종 의무화 정부 '범죄자' 규정    이탈리아 로마에서는 9월 5일 마스크 착용, 신체적 거리감, 코로나바이러스 백신 접종에 반대하는 시위가 열렸다. 1500여명의 시위대에는 극우 정당인 포르자 누오바(FN)의 지지자, 반백신 운동가, 각종 19세 시위대 등이 참여했다. 이들은 국가가 '건강 독재국가'로 변했다며 마스크 착용과 백신 접종을 의무화한 정부를 '범죄자'로 규정했다. 이탈리아는 최근 5월 초 이후 가장 큰 일일 환자 수가 증가해 금요일 1700명 이상이 새로 발생했다. 이탈리아는 현재 27만8천명 이상의 코로나바이러스 감염을 확인했다. 35,000명 이상이 사망했다.

Some 1,500 demonstrators included supporters of the ultra-right political party Forza Nuova (FN), anti-vaccine activists and various covid-19 deniers.

They said the country had turned into a "health dictatorship" and called the government "criminals" for requiring people to wear masks and vaccinate.

Italy has recently seen its largest daily case increase since early May with more than 1,700 new cases on Friday.

Italy now has confirmed more than 278,000 coronavirus infections in the pandemic. Over 35,000 died.
