말레이서 계란 세 개 수직으로 쌓아 기네스 기록…"균형의 예술"

   말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에 사는 예멘 남성이 계란 세 개를 수직으로 쌓아 올려 기네스 기록을 수립했다.

19일 현지 매체들에 따르면 무함마드 아벨하미드 무함마드 무크벨(20)이 올해 4월 10일 계란 세 개를 맨손으로 쌓는 기네스 기록에 도전해 성공했다.

기네스 기록 평가단은 계란이 최소 5초 이상 수직으로 세워진 상태를 유지하고, 껍질에 금지 가지 않아야 한다고 규정했다.

세계기록 인증 기관인 영국의 기네스월드레코드는 지난주 공식 인스타그램을 통해 '계란 쌓기' 영상을 공개했다.

영상을 보면 무함마드가 첫 번째 계란을 평평한 탁자 바닥에 세우고 그 위에 두 번째, 세 번째 계란을 올려 성공한 장면을 확인할 수 있다.

기네스 기록 측은 "20세 남성이 균형의 예술을 마스터했다"며 "계란 쌓기 세계 기록을 경신할 생각이 있더라도 계란을 낭비하지는 말아달라"고 요청했다.

무함마드는 "여섯 살 때부터 계란을 세우는 방법을 스스로 터득해 연습했다"며 "계란 질량의 무게중심을 찾아내 세우는 것이 요령"이라고 말했다.

이어 "계란 쌓기 연습을 하는 것은 인내심뿐만 아니라 고도의 집중력이 필요하다"고 덧붙였다.
