At least 19 people have been killed and dozens more injured after two bombs exploded during a Sunday Mass near a Roman Catholic cathedral in the Philippine island of Mindanao.

필리핀 카톨릭 타겟 성당 폭탄 테러 발생...19명 사망 수십명 부상   필리핀 민다나오 섬의 로마 가톨릭 성당 근처에서 일요일 미사에서 두 개의 폭탄이 폭발한 후 적어도 19명이 사망하고 수십 명이 부상당했다. 당국에 따르면 첫 번째 폭발은 졸로 성당 안에서 폭발했고 두 번째 폭발은 입구 근처의 긴급구조원들을 겨냥한 것이라고 전했다.  앞서 경찰은 적어도 10명의 민간인과 5명의 군인들이 사망자 명단에 포함되어 있다고 말했다. 보도에 따르면 최소 33명의 시민을 포함하여 48명의 다른 사람들이 보험에 들지 않은 것으로 알려졌다. 민다나오 섬은 과거에 아부 사야프 이슬람 테러리스트들에 의해 자행된 폭탄, 납치, 참수 사건의 표적이 되어 왔다. 황기철 콘페이퍼 에디터 큐레이터 Ki Cheol Hwang, conpaper editor, curator

According to authorities the first bomb exploded inside the Jolo cathedral, while the second blast targeted first responders near the entrance, Rappler reports.

Earlier police said at least 10 civilians and five troops are among those killed. Some 48 others were reportedly inijured, including at least 33 civilians.

No one has immediately claimed responsibility, but the island has in the past been targeted by bombings, kidnappings and beheadings perpetrated by Abu Sayyaf Islamists terrorists.
