Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition 2016 - Final 1

At each final evening the audience will hear two finalists, accompanied by the National Orchestra of Belgium, conducted by Marin Alsop. Each finalist will perform a concerto of his or her choice, as well as the unpublished work written specially for this year’s competition. This compulsory work is no longer selected on the basis of the Composition Competition, but has been commissioned by the Executive Committee of the Queen Elisabeth Competition.
