We'll begin our journey with a tour of the capital, Helena, with a visit to Last Chance Gulch, where gold was discovered. Following a lunch adventure on your own, we'll cruise through the Gates of the Mountains, where towering walls of limestone stand guard over the river. Next we'll visit the gorgeous Glacier National Park and Flathead Valley, where we'll take a ride on an authentic 1933 motor coach to the peak of the park, and float the crystal waters of the Middle Fork of Flathead Valley. Visit the Conrad Mansion in Kalispell, a beautifully preserved pre-1900 mansion, home of Charles Conrad who established the Kalispell Townsite Company and the Conrad National Bank. Finally, we will visit the Hutterite Colony, a group of people who live a communal lifestyle, sharing possessions and living peacefully, giving you the opportunity to talk and learn from those who live in the community.
