4일 글로벌 인적자원(HR) 컨설팅 업체 '유니버섬(Universum)’의 '2020년 세계에서 가장 매력적인 고용주(2020 World's Most Attractive Employers)’ 보고서에서 삼성전자는 공학·IT 전공 부문에서 9위를 차지했다. 5년 연속 10위 안 진입이지만, 지난해보다는 한계단 내려온 순위다. 삼성전자는 2016년 9위에 오르며 처음으로 10위권 안에 들었다.

공학·IT 전공생이 선호하는 직장 1위는 구글이었다. 11년 연속 1위다. 2위는 마이크로소프트(MS), 3위는 애플, 4위는 BMW그룹, 5위는 아마존, 6위는 인텔, 7위는 IBM, 8위는 지멘스였다. 10위는 제너럴일렉트릭(GE)이었고, 소니는 11위였다.

경영학 전공생을 대상으로 한 조사에선 삼성전자가 43위에 올랐다. 지난해 41위보다 2계단 하락한 결과다. 경영학 전공생들이 가장 선호하는 기업 역시 구글이었다. 애플이 2위, MS가 3위였다. 4위는 아마존, 5위는 딜로이트였다.

조사 대상자는 한국과 미국, 중국, 일본, 영국, 프랑스, 독일, 인도 등 12개 국가 공학·IT 전공 대학생·대학원생 12만6407명이었다. 경영학 전공자는 10만8866명을 조사했다. 유니버섬은 "글로벌 혁신 기술을 이끄는 산업에 대한 선호도가 높아지고 있다"며 "경영학 전공 부문에서 2위였던 언스트앤영(E&Y)이 올해 7위, 3위였던 프라이스워터하우스쿠퍼(PwC)는 8위로 하락하는 등 회계·금융 회사들이 고전하고 있다"고 했다.
