ISIS 'already has a new leader' barely a day after former chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died 'like a dog' in US strikes as the former Saddam Hussein army officer takes the terror group's reins.
Abdullah Qardash - sometimes spelt Karshesh - was said to have been nominated by the now deceased al-Baghdadi to run the group's 'Muslim Affairs', as reported by Newsweek.
Little is known about Qardash, who once served under Saddam Hussein.

두바이, 과잉 주택 논란...1~2년 내에 건설 중단해야 두바이에 앞으로 1~2년 동안 새로운 주택 건설을 중단해야 한다는 보도가 나왔다. 주택 과잉 공급으로 인한 경제적 재앙을 막기 위해서다. 27일(현지 시각) 블룸버그통신에 따르면 두바이는 최근 수요대비 신규 주택 건설 공급이 과도해 주택 가격이 큰 폭으로 떨어지고 있다. 다막 부동산 PJSC의 후세인 사즈와니 회장은 블룸버그와의 인터뷰에서 "우리는 이제 교차점에 진입하고 있다"면서 "이 (주택 과잉 공급) 문제를 해결하지 않으면 재앙을 맞게 될 것"이라고 말했다. 이 회장은 지난 5년 전 정점에 달한 이후 침체된 건설 시장에 신규 주택 건설 억제를 주장하는 임원 중 한명이다. 5년간 주택 가격이 30%대 떨어진 데 이어 현재 경기 침체로 인해 가격 반등을 점치는 전망도 사라진 상황이다. 부동산 중개업자 JLL에 따르면 올해 3만채의 신규 주택이 건설될 예정인데, 이는 걸프 시 주택 수요의 2배에 달하는 것으로 추정된다.
