Made from bamboo, ChopBox features a second slide-out board and two built-in knife sharpeners. The revolutionary chopping board even has the ability to sanitize knives and the cutting surface by simply activating the built-in 254nm UVC light. The Yes Company designers claim that just one minute of UVC light exposure is guaranteed to kill 99.99% of germs and harmful bacteria.

The handy, built-in digital scale on the left side of the board can measure your ingredients in grams, ounces, pounds, and kilograms up to 6.6 pounds (3 kg). Users can also activate a 9-hour digital kitchen timer, eliminating the need for an extra, standard 59-minute timer in the kitchen. The long-lasting, rechargeable battery allows 30 days of regular daily use, and it’s also completely waterproof and incredibly strong—it can withhold 150 pounds (68 kg) of weight!

If you’re impressed by ChopBox, you aren’t the only one. The Yes Company team met its original goal of $10,000 in just 25 minutes after launching on Kickstarer. And as of writing, the campaign has raised a staggering $1,364,803 with 23 days to go. “We want to say thank you for all of your support,” The Yes Company says on Kickstarter. “We are hitting 1 million in just 6 days on our Kickstarter campaign! Without all of your help, this never would have happened.”
