류현진(32·로스앤젤레스 다저스)이 프로 데뷔 13년 만에 한미 통산 150승을 기록했다.
류현진은 12일(한국시간) 미국 캘리포니아주 로스앤젤레스 다저스타디움에서 열린 애리조나 다이아몬드백스와의 홈경기에 선발 등판해 7이닝 동안 무실점 호투했다. 안타는 5개를 허용했지만 위기때마다 위기관리 능력으로 무사히 이닝을 소화했다.

A second coming of Randy Johnson, Ryu is not. But as the Dodgers are reminded every time Ryu takes the mound, velocity and double-digit strikeout totals are not prerequisites for dominance. The left-hander came off the injured list to throw seven scoreless innings, giving up five hits, striking out four batters and walking one, in Sunday’s 9-3 victory over Arizona in front of 44,619 in Dodger Stadium to improve to 12-2 with a major league-best 1.45 earned-run average in 22 starts. “It was vintage Ryu — changing speeds, pitching to all four quadrants, keeping guys off balance,” said third baseman Justin Turner, who hit two of the Dodgers’ four home runs against starter Mike Leake (9-9). “He’s like Houdini. He gets in trouble and he seems to always find a way out of it.” |

2006년 KBO리그 한화 이글스에 데뷔한 류현진은 역대 최초로 신인상과 최우수선수(MVP)를 석권하며 화려하게 등장했고 메이저리그 진출 전인 2012년까지 한화에서 통산 98승을 기록했다.
빅리그에 진출해 이날까지 통산 52승을 보태 한미통산 150승 고지를 밟았다.
류현진은 또 시즌 평균자책점을 1.53에서 1.45로 더 낮춰 내셔널리그 사이영상의 선두 주자로 입지를 굳혔다.
올 시즌 홈에서 9승 무패를 올린 류현진은 또 안방 평균자책점도 0.89에서 0.81로 떨어뜨렸다.
