대원, 베트남 중부지역 복합 개발사업 본격 추진
비코랜드 그룹(VICOLAND Group)과
도시개발 공동사업 업무협약 체결

대원이 베트남 중부지역 개발사업을 본격 추진한다.
대원은 최근 베트남 중부지역 대표 디벨로퍼(Developer) 비코랜드 그룹(VICOLAND Group)과 도시개발 공동사업 업무협약을 체결했다고 19일 밝혔다.

양사는 이번 협약을 통해 다낭(Da Nang), 호이안(Hoi An), 꽝응아이(Quang Ngai) 경제구역 등 베트남 중부지역에서 총 3건의 개발사업을 추진한다는 데 합의했다.
대원 관계회사인 (주)대원인베스트먼트를 통해 해당 사업 투자자를 대상으로 하는 다양한 금융상품화도 구상한다는 계획이다. 호이안에는 유네스코 세계문화유산에 등재된 구시가지 인근의 섬을 복합휴양단지로 조성할 계획이다. 우선 1.8헥타르(ha)의 면적을 생태 보전과 호이안의 대표 관광지를 목적으로 테마가 있는 휴양지로 개발할 예정이다.
꽝응아이성 중꾸엇 경제구역(Dung Quat EZ)에는 대규모 도시개발 검토에 착수한다. 중꾸엇 경제구역은 국내 기업인 두산중공업이 담수화 플랜트를 투자한 곳이다.
경제구역의 배후도시 역할을 할 수 있는 주택, 상업 시설, 호텔, 학교 등이 들어서는 복합개발사업이 될 전망이다.
대원 관계자는 "다낭을 중심으로 한 중부지역은 베트남 내에서도 높은 성장률을 기록하고 있다"며 "향후 풍부한 사업기회가 있는 만큼 개발사업 선점을 통해 베트남에서 대원의 입지를 강화해 나아가겠다"라고 말했다.
한편, 비코랜드 그룹은 다낭 지역을 기반으로 하는 대표적 부동산 개발 전문 기업이다. 지난 2007년 설립 이후 리조트, 호텔, 주택단지 조성 등 복합개발을 전문으로 하고 있다.

HCMC – Six Korean companies will invest more than US$11 million in Dung Quat Economic Zone in Quang Ngai Province to create a new industrial cluster, covering some 65,000 square meters, in the zone.
The six companies are industrial steel valve manufacturer Samshin Valve Vina; producer of boiler tubing for heat exchangers Yoobong Vina; spring suspension and metal pipe support manufacturer Wookwang Vietnam; provider of freight services and warehousing Kwang Jin Vietnam; packaging, customs clearance, warehousing, storage and delivery service provider Hanbit P&L Vina; and electrical control manufacturer Nasan Electric Industries.

At the groundbreaking ceremony for the six plants on August 22, Park Hong Ook, general director of Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam (Doosan Vina), which helped attract the six investors, said the groundbreaking was the result of the cooperation between the Quang Ngai government, the Dung Quat Economic Zone Authority, Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction, Doosan Vina and the six Korean companies. This move will help attract more Korean investors to Quang Ngai, he added.
Le Viet Chu, secretary of the Quang Ngai Party Committee, noted that the investment from the six Korean companies indicated the confidence of foreign investors in Quang Ngai and Vietnam as a whole.
After the groundbreaking ceremony, the six companies will begin the construction of their plants.
Doosan Vina, a hi-tech industrial complex in the Dung Quat Economic Zone of Quang Ngai Province, employs 2,000 Vietnamese workers.
