QS world university rankings lists the top architecture schools of 2021 architecture

 

QS quacquarelli symonds unveils the 2021 edition of its QS world university rankings, listing the top architecture schools of the year. the higher education analysis firm analyzes and ranks the A-list of universities with architecture schools, with a subject-based methodology that takes into account each school’s academic and employer reputations, and its relevance and impact among research citations. a total of 220 universities are listed among this year’s rankings, with the top five grouping consistent with the last several years, with slight variations in order.

QS 쿼카렐리 아몬드가 QS 세계 대학 순위 2021년판을 공개하며 올해 최고의 건축대학을 선정했다. 고등교육분석업체는 건축전문학교가 있는 대학의 A등급을 분석, 순위를 매기는 등 각 학교의 학력과 고용주의 평판, 연구논문 간 관련성 및 영향을 고려한 과목별 방법론으로 올해 상위권에는 총 220개 대학이 이름을 올렸다. 5개의 그룹이 지난 몇 년과 일치하고 순서가 약간 다르다.

 

 

지난해 라인업과 비슷하게 매사추세츠공대(MIT)가 상위권에 이름을 올렸고, 대학 런던(UCL), 델프트공대, ETH 취리히, 하버드대 순이다.

 

QS 쿼카렐리 아몬드가 꼽은 상위 10개 건축대학은 2021년 2개 대학만 신설됐다. 여기에는 12위에서 6위로 뛰어오른 싱가포르 국립대와 11위에서 8위로 오른 베이징 칭화대가 포함된다. 이 두 학교는 영국의 맨체스터 건축학교를 11위로, 스위스의 에콜 폴리테크니크 페데랄 데 로잔느(EPFL)를 12위로 대체했다. 한편, 캘리포니아 대학교는 상위 10위 안에 드는 반면, 이탈리아의 정치 니코 디밀라노는 6위에서 7위로 떨어졌다. 케임브리지 대학은 9위로 그 위치를 유지했다.

similar to last year’s lineup, the massachusetts institute of technology (MIT) is listed at the top of the list, followed by university college london (UCL), delft university of technology, ETH zürich, and harvard university.

 

the top ten architecture schools ranked by QS quacquarelli symonds saw only two new universities in 2021. these include the national university of singapore, which jumped to sixth place from twelfth, and tsinghua university in beijing, which rose to eighth place from eleventh. these two schools replaced the manchester school of architecture in the UK — which fell to eleventh — and école polytechnique fédérale de lausanne (EPFL) in switzerland — now twelfth. meanwhile among the top ten, the university of california, berkley dropped from sixth to seventh place while the politecnico di milano in italy fell from seventh to tenth. the university of cambridge maintained its position at number nine. see the full list of the QS world university rankings in the subject of architecture.
