베트남, Long Thanh 국제공항 롱 탄 공항 건설계획 승인

    최근 베트남 정부가 호치민시 근교에 추진될 롱 탄 (Long Thanh) 신국제 공항 건설 계획을 승인했다.

호치민시에 떤 선녓 국제 공항이 운영되고 있으나, 노후화와 향후 수요 확대를 감안할 때 인근에 신공항의 건설이 필요하다. 이에 베트남 공항공사(Airports Corporation of Vietnam)는 호치민시 중심부에서 동쪽으로 약 35km 떨어진 동나이(Đồng Nai)성 Long Thanh에 새로운 국제공항의 건설을 추진하고 있다.

1단계만 46억 불 규모

Vietnam to start $4.6bn first phase of Long Thanh airport next month: report Work on Vietnam’s Long Thanh International Airport, one of the largest infrastructure projects in the country’s history, is to begin next month, according to local news site VnExpress. The project is being developed by Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV). Lai Xuan Thanh, chairman of the corporation, told VnExpress that ACV had signed memorandums of understanding for around $6.1bn of loans with 12 organisations. The first phase of the work is expected to cost $4.3bn. The airport will be about 40km east of Ho Chi Minh City in Dong Nai Province. The province has granted 1,800ha for the airport. The first phase will have one 4km-long runway with a width of 75m, and a 373,000-sq-m terminal designed to serve 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tons of cargo a year. This phase is expected to  be complete in 2025. Two further phases will then be undertaken, and are due to finish before 2040. These will add three more runways and four passenger terminals, allowing the airport to accommodate 100 million passengers and 5 million tons of cargo. 우선 1단계로 2025년까지 활주로 1개(4,000m×75m), 여객 터미널 빌딩(연면적 37만3,000㎡, 연간 2,500만명 수용), 화물 터미널 (연간 120만톤 화물처리)등이 건설되는데, 사업비109조동(4,900억엔) 가운데 건설 비용으로 약 56조동(2,520억엔)이 투입될 예정이다.

현재 상세설계 입찰공고를 준비 중으로 2021년 상반기에 설계에 참여할 업체를 선정할 계획이지만, 동 프로젝트의 타당성조사를 일본공항컨설턴트(JAC), Nippon Koei, Oriental Consultant Global, 프랑스 ADPI 및 베트남 기업 2 개사로 구성된 JV가 수행하여 2019년 후반에 완료한 바 있기에 상세설계입찰에도 동 JV가 참여할 것으로 예상된다. 

한편 동 프로젝트의 시공은 「토공사 · 측량 · 정지」, 「활주로 · 유도로 정비」, 「화물 주차장용 빌딩건설」, 「청사 건설 」등 여러 패키지로 나누어 실시 될 예정이다.
