쿠웨이트, JPF-4 & JPF-5 추진 지연 예상
Kuwait Oil Company (KOC)가 추진하는 9억불 규모의 쿠웨이트 북부 Jurassic production facilities의 JPF-4와 JPF-5가 지연될 것으로 예상된다.
동 프로젝트의 입찰은 2020.12.22일 마감될 예정으로 지난 9.13일 공고된 바 있으나 연기될 것으로 예상된다.

Kuwait releases US$900 million Jurassic natural gas project tender It is reported that the number of JPF-4 and JPF-5 tenders of the Jurassic Natural Gas Production Facility Project in northern Kuwait has passed the prequalification. The owner of the project is Kuwait Crude Oil Company, and the total contract value of the two tenders is estimated to be approximately US$900 million. The relevant bidding documents were released on September 13, and the deadline for bidding is December 22, 2020. The pre-bid meeting for this project will be held online on October 5, 2020. Since the first announcement of the tender for the JPF-4 and JPF-5 tenders in January this year, the tender has been postponed for a long time. MEED는 연장 사유가 코로나19에 의한 영향은 아니며, 참여 EPC사들의 입찰 준비에 더 시간이 필요하기 때문이라고 소식통을 인용해 보도했다.
또한, 10.5일 개최된 동 프로젝트의 사전 입찰미팅에는 총 10개사가 참석했으며, 앞서 실시한 PQ에서는 다음 11개사가 통과했다고 덧붙였다.
