The Burj Al Arab (Arabic: برج العرب, Tower of the Arabs) is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[7] It is the fifth tallest hotel in the world (although 39% of its total height is made up of non-occupiable space).[8][9][10] Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) from Jumeirah Beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to resemble the sail of a ship. It has a helipad near the roof at a height of 210 m (689 ft) above ground.

두바이 7성 호텔 버즈 알 아랍 건설 히스토리 세계 2번째 높이의 호텔 착공 1994년 완공 1999년 안테나/첨탑 321m 최상층 197.5m 부르즈 알-아랍 부르즈 알-아랍 (아랍어: برج العرب, "아랍의 타워"라는 뜻 영어: Burj Al Arab) (다른 말로 버즈 알 아랍)은 아랍에미리트 두바이에 위치한 최고급 호텔이다. 부르즈 알 아랍은 주메이라 해변에서 조금 떨어진 인공섬 위에 건축되었는데, 두바이와는 곡선 모양의 전용 교량을 통해서 연결된다. 건물은 배의 부풀어오른 돛 모양을 형상화 했으며, 두바이의 발전상을 대표하고 있다. 사이드 칼리가 건설하였으며, 현재는 주메이라 그룹이 이 호텔을 운영하고 있다. 건물은 WS 앳킨스 PLC의 탐 라이트(Tom Wright)가 설계하였다. 2008년 6월에 로즈 타워가 세계 최고 높이의 호텔로 등극하였다. 위키피디어 |
