Fans can hardly wait for the 2019 opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge lands—at both Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and Disney World in Florida. But construction is definitely moving along, and now, you can watch a video progress report, released just the other day.
The flyover footage shows the steady rise of towers, mountains, and structures making up the never-before-seen land of Batuu, “a remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge that was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes,” according to the official Disney Parks blog.
Slated to be one of Disney Park’s most detailed and immersive experiences, Galaxy’s Edge will offer guests the chance to “take the controls” of the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission, and get it on the action in an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
While the video depicts the progress of the California outpost of the much-anticipated 14-acre land, the one in Bay Lake, Florida, promises to be just as impressive. Take a look below.
