Bluebeam Releases Revu 2016
Bluebeam Revu 2016
The latest version of Revu is here, delivering new tools and enhancements to help you push the boundaries of PDF navigation and reporting.
This year, we're making a difference for aspiring AEC industry leaders by donating free seats of Revu 2016 to students around the world.
Bluebeam is a leader in construction drawing markup, allowing PDF-based annotation and collaboration between contractors, architects, and engineers. Their latest release of their flagship program, Bluebeam Revu 2016, offers several enhanced features for its users.
Before we get into the enhancements, Bluebeam is also making a trial Revu 2016 FREE for students until the end of the day today (February 26), so act fast!
Along with the usual abilities of Revu, 2016 will also include:
Batch Markup Summary:
Allows users to create reports from multiple pages of PDFs, further simplifying communication
Revit Plugin Enhancements:
For those Bluebeam users that also use Revit, you can now create spaces from Revit Rooms when creating PDF sheets and easily export them to Bluebeam. You can also transfer materials information into a 3D PDF.
Legends:
Legends allows you to place a legend key directly on your PDF, so people who aren’t familiar with Bleambeam notations or the notations that you use can more easily understand. You can choose the level of detail that the legend shows, but it will even tally the number of times you use a certain punchkey.
Tags:
Tags makes creating, configuring, and managing Sets of PDFs much easier by allowing users to sort all drawings based on certain criteria, including drawing revision, sheet type, discipline, and categories.
