Jean-Pierre Houdin (French:born in Paris), is a French architect perhaps most notable for a theory on pyramid construction. Houdin grew up in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, where his father was the director of a construction company. As a small boy, he spent his spare time on construction sites while his mother, who was a doctor, cared for her patients in a bush dispensary. His interest in building and construction grew out of this first period of his life. |
