인도네시아는 현재 브라질에서 개발된 압축공기 추진식 철도인 Aeromovel 의 도입추진하고 있다. 

 

Bekasi과 West Java지역에 총 1600억불을 투입해 건설예정인 이 사업은 도심지에서 소음과 매연이

적어 친환경적인 사업방식으로 최근 아시아, 아프리카에서도 큰 관심을 받고 있다.

Aeromovel은 압축공기 추진식 철도' 혹은 '기압 철도'로 월드컵에 대비해 브라질에서 개발되었으며 현재 운행 중에 있다.

최대 속도 65 km/h인 Aeromovel앞으로 움직여 나가는데 있어 철도 위 공기압으로부터 나오는 추진력을 사용한다. 공기 팬은 전기에 의해 가동되며 낮은 에너지 경비를 제공하고 대중교통에 있어 오염을 발생하지 않는 대안을 제공해준다. 심지어 소음 공해는 방음 팬에 의해 줄일 수 있다.

경량의 샌드위치 복합재료로 100% 만들어진 차체를 제작하여 친환경적 대중교통수단에 기여 했다는 평가를 받고 있다.

Mass Transport Bekasi Aeromovel Needs Rp 2 Trillion

 

JAKARTA - The rail-based mass transit project, Aeromovel, which is planned to be built in Bekasi, West Java, requires an investment of Rp 2 trillion.

 

The project, which is planned to be built through three housing estates, is considered cheaper than the monorail.

 

"Prediction of the budget for the entire project is about Rp 2 trillion," said representative of PT Cakar Bumi Integrasi (CBI), Siswanto, in an agenda presenting the aeromovel project with Deputy Mayor of Bekasi, Ahmad Syaikhu, in Bekasi, recently.

 

According to Siswanto, the projected budget amount is sufficient to build a 12km-long rail track that runs through the Kota Harapan Indah Housing Estate, Summarecon Bekasi and Kemang Pratama Housing Estate. The aeromovel rail line will encircle three sub-districts, including Medansa Tria, West Bekasi, and South Bekasi.

 

"The budget amount is also sufficient to supply 25 aeromovel sets that are capable of transporting 250,000 passengers every day," he explained.

 

Siswanto added that the aeromovel trains will be driven by wind gust, so it can be more efficient and environmentally friendly. The project is also synergised with other transportation modes, such as the TransJakarta bus and Busway-Integrated Border Transport (APTB), as well as other mass transport modes.

 

"We expect people will only pay Rp 10 thousand per person to travel by aeromovel. But this depends on the upcoming study on the field," he said.

 

According to him, the project is similar to the existing railway overpass in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). However, the mass transport to be built is now more sophisticated and efficient. In fact, this aeromovel project will be used during the World Cup soccer event in Brazil.

 

Siswanto added that, if the offer of cooperation is approved by Bekasi City Administration, the financing of its development up to the maintenance phase shall be established in collaboration with PT GCI, which is focused on the development of transport infrastructure based on sharia.

 

The consortium has a number of participating companies in the project plan, consisting of PT CBI PT Public Private Partnership Indonesia, and PT GCI.

 

Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor of Bekasi, Ahmad Syaikhu, revealed that the offer to build the mass transit requires deepening in the form of a memorandum of understanding for the cooperation. "The process is still in the planning process in relevant agencies. We are measuring the utilisation of fasos [social facilities]/ fasum [public facilities] for the route that the aeromovel will service," he said, as quoted by Antara.

 

Nevertheless, he claimed that this kind of mass transport is a new type of fleets in the City of Bekasi and several other major cities. The presence of this aeromovel mass transport is a solution to parse congestion and it can be integrated with residential and commercial areas.

 

Data from the local Office of Transportation show that there are at least 19 traffic jam location points in Bekasi City until 2014. Bekasi City Government has been trying to reduce the existing congestion points; one of the ways is by promoting ​​mass transport modes, such as the APTB.
