It is one of the world's deadliest snakes - so can you spot the sneaky serpent lurking in the grass?
According to snake catcher Mark Pelley, who snapped this photo in Diamond Creek in north-east Melbourne, Tiger snakes are the fifth most venomous in the world.
Not only are they capable of delivering a fatal bite - with a 40 to 60 per cent mortality rate if untreated - they are well-camouflaged too.
