Elon Musk shows off his Boring Company elevator for the first time: Lift will take cars to a tunnel under LA and transport them on 130mph 'skates' to beat congestion

Elon Musk posted a video to Instagram showing a Tesla car on the elevator 

The elevator will deliver cars from street level down to the transport network  

Musk believes a vast network of road tunnels will reduce congestion in the city 

But he still faces many obstacles to his plans, including getting work permits

Last week, Musk announced that he had 'verbal government approval' to build the world's longest underground tunnel between New York and Washington DC

엘리베이터를 이용해 지하도로 터널로 들어가는 동영상을 올렸다.

교통 체증? 걱정없다.

그저 도로에 설치되어 있는 엘리베이터를 이용하면 된다.

일론 머스크는 도로 터널의 거대한 네트워크가 도심혼잡을 

감소시켜줄 것으로 믿고 있다.

하지만 건설작업 허가 등  계획에 아직 많은 난관들이 남아있다. 

지난 주에는 뉴욕에서 워싱턴DC까지 세계 최장 지하터널 건설에 

대한 정부의 구두 승인을 받았다고 발표한 바 있다.

Elon Musk has shared a video of his Boring Company's car elevator in action for the first time.

The billionaire posted the video on Instagram, showing a Tesla car -  a firm which Musk also owns - quickly descending on the elevator.

The elevator marks a major step in Musk's plans to build a transport network beneath Los Angeles. 

The elevator will take cars to a tunnel under LA and transport them on 130mph 'skates' to beat congestion
