UBIQUITOUS ENERGY – UBIQUITOUS ENERGY TO DEMONSTRATE REVOLUTIONARY CLEARVIEW POWER™ TECHNOLOGY AT 2016 SID DISPLAY WEEK

remember a time where one had to actually dial a telephone number; not to mention those long curly cords that, no matter what you did, would get tangled. My grandmother had a bright red corded phone that was located in her kitchen, where its sole purpose was so that she could chat and gossip as she cooked. Then came cordless and cell phones, freeing us from those long cords plugged into walls. While one could make and receive calls from anywhere, society soon become dependent on another limited power source: batteries. Ubiquitous Energy, a tech company, is on mission to free society from the clutches of that dreaded red battery warning by harnessing the power of nature’s most powerful force: the sun.

Ubiquitous Energy is currently developing its potentially revolutionary innovation, ClearView Power™ technology. A truly transparent solar film, ClearView Power™, when placed on a product’s display area, such as that of a wearable, tablet, etc, acts as a nearly invisible, onboard source of electricity.

Having garnered an impressive amount of media coverage, the company has plans to keep the momentum going. Beginning tomorrow, Ubiquitous Energy will demonstrate its ClearView Power™ prototypes at 2016 SID Display Week, the premier international event for the electronic display industry. At last year’s Display Week hosted in San Jose, California, the company was recognized with the I-Zone Award, which, according to SID’s official website, recognizes cutting-edge prototypes that will lead to the products of tomorrow.

Along with being recognized by other leading organizations, such as Fraunhofer-Techbridge and MIT Clean Energy Initiative, Ubiquitous Energy was awarded a $150,000 grant from The National Science Foundation.

Grants and demos at leading tech conventions are certainly good for business; however, Ubiquitous Energy remains focused on its number one goal: ushering in a tech age powered by solar energy, finally allowing society to ditch the cords and charging cables for good. “Of course it’s an honor to receive awards,” said Miles Barr, CEO of Ubiquitous Energy, “but, we’re focused on getting ClearView Power™ into products as an invisible onboard power source,”
