Google’s Website for Corona Virus is now Live
Google is the only company which is fully engaged in our daily life. We are using lots of their tools in every footstep. Its main job is to “organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful”. At present, the Coronavirus pandemic is at the top of the world’s news. Google itself took the responsibility to share proper and genuine information about this newly spread virus.

미국 IT 전문매체 더버지와 매셔블 등은 22일(현지시각) 구글의 코로나 바이러스 관련 웹사이트를 안내하는 기사를 보도했다. 구글은 해당 웹사이트에서 질병 관련 정보, 안전 및 예방 팁, 통계, 교육자와 기업을 위한 추가 지원 등에 관한 정보를 제공한다. 구글은 “세계보건기구(WHO)나 미국 질병통제예방센터(CDC) 등 신뢰할 수 있는 기관으로부터 자료를 제공받는다”고 밝혔다.
구글은 코로나 바이러스 증상과 예방법 등에 관한 정보를 정리해서 올렸다. 전 세계에 확산하는 코로나 바이러스를 한 눈에 볼 수 있도록 지도 형태의 정보인 ‘코로나바이러스 맵’도 제공한다. 이를 통해 국가별 확진자 수, 100만명당 감염자 수, 사망자 수 등을 확인할 수 있다.
