A preliminary study model made from a square pile of note paper, describes a concept for a tower which is not quite a regular box, nor a clear, spatial departure from the regular box. Rather the model suggests a conceptually soft geometry, or better, a twisted tower.

LA의 베스퍼틴 컬버시티 빌딩  이 빌딩은 원래 10개 제안 중 유리로 건설하는 것으로 검토되었다. 제안된 수평 및 수직 '핀' 및 유리 인클로저 시스템(모든 직선)을 철저히 평가했다.  유리 구성 요소는 결코 구부러지지 않았기 때문에, 곡면 표면은 항상 네 개의 탑 고도에서 위치를 지속적으로 이동시키는 일련의 직선들의 집합체로서 전달되었다. 내부 구조 프레임은 외부 모양에 가깝다. 네 개의 모서리 기둥은 굴곡 형태를 반영하기 위해 일련의 복합 완화제를 사용합니다. 이 건물은 1층, 메자닌, 2층, 그리고 내부 계단과 엘리베이터로 연결된 지붕 덮개로 구성되어 있다. 에릭 오웬 모스 건축회사 설계 황기철 콘페이퍼 에디터 큐레이터 Ki Cheol Hwang, conpaper editor, curator

That proposal was originally studied as glass in the 10 Towers proposal. The proposed horizontal and vertical ‘fins’ and the glazing enclosure system – all straight lines – were thoroughly evaluated. Glazing components were never curved, so the curving surfaces were always conveyed as the aggregate of a sequence of straight lines that continually shifted position across the four tower elevations.

The internal structural frame closely follows the exterior shape. Four corner columns undergo a series of compound miters to reflect the curving form. The building consists of a ground floor, a mezzanine, a second floor, and a covered roof deck connected by and internal stair and elevator.

A secondary support building will be built just to the west of the site. Directly adjacent to the building is a garden made up of undulating grass mounds and a series of concrete benches and tables. Directly to the north of the building, a ditch made up of concrete blocks contains a pool of water that raises and lowers throughout the day.
