NFT completed the installation of the site's 13 cranes in less than five weeks, averaging one tower crane per day.

Bassem Kini, NFT's operations manager in charge of the project, added: “Two to three erecting teams were simultaneously working on site.

“The erection went smoothly thanks to the coordination and support of the site team.”

One team would assemble the masts, while the other would implement installation works. Kini oversaw the exercise to ensure NFT met the deadline set by the JV.

In a statement, NFT said it would “continue to support the project with operators, spare parts, and technical services”.

Construction work commenced on the $1.2bn (AED4.4bn) Reem Mall late in 2017, and is planned to be completed by end 2020.
The 27ha Reem Mall, located in Reem Island's Najmat District, will feature the Snow Park Abu Dhabi.

Al Farwaniya Property Developments, the developer behind Reem Mall, said work began after a $457m (AED1.7bn) senior credit facility was signed to complete project financing.
