   중국에서 건물 19채를 동시에 폭파해 철거하는 장면이 공개됐다.

지난 21일(현지시간) 중국 후베이성 우한시 재개발 현장에서 19개의 건물이 동시에 폭파 해체됐다.

굉음과 함께 먼지 구름을 일으키며 건물들이 한꺼번에 쓰러졌으며 건물이 무너지는 데 걸린 시간은 

단 10초, 사용된 폭발물만 5t에 달했다.

경전철이 다니는 등 도심 한가운데서 폭파가 이뤄졌지만 철저한 대비 덕분에 피해는 없었다고

We saw some pretty awesome demolition videos in 2016, like this super slow motion bridge demolition and this video of 116 excavators working side by side to demolish an overpass overnight, but this new video is already on top of the leaderboard for best demolitions of 2017. 

In Hankou, China, 19 buildings, each standing between 7 and 12 stories high, were simultaneously imploded late last week. According to The Sun, it took 5.5 tons (5 tonnes) of explosives placed in 120,000 different places to bring the tower blocks to their knees. As you could imagine, the 19 buildings, which covered a total area of 37 acres (15 hectares), created an enormous dust cloud that swallowed the site.

As with most demolitions, the downfall of these buildings is making way for a new development.  Over $4 billion 30 billion yuan) is being poured into the soon-to-be new business district, which will include the construction of a 2300 foot (707 meter) tall tower.  If opened today, that height would make the new tower the 2nd tallest in the world.
