The World’s Tallest Building Gets Its Own World’s Tallest Lego Building Replica

  2009년 준공 이후 18개의 세계 기록을 남긴 현존 세계 최고 높이 빌딩 

두바이 '부르즈 할리파'

빌딩의 명성에 걸맞게 레고 부르즈 할리파도 세계 최고를 자랑한다.

레고랜드두바이에서 만들어진 이 레고 부르즈 할리파는 높이가 16.8m 총

439,000개의 레고로 구성되어 있으며  무게만 1톤에 달한다.

레고 작업팀이  5천시간에 걸쳐서 완성했다.

The Burj Khalifa currently holds 18 world records, including the ever-coveted “tallest building in the world” honor. The United Arab Emirates’ 2,717 feet tall behemoth of a structure has held that title since its completion in 2009.  Because of that, it seems only fitting that a replica of the skyscraper should hold the record for world’s tallest Lego building

Built by a team of experts at Legoland Dubai, the Lego Burj Khalifa, which Architzer has also referred to as the Brick Khalifa, stands a whopping 56 feet high and took 439,000 Lego pieces to complete.  Weighing in at 1 ton, it took the team around 5,000 hours to complete.  As a kid, I never imagined that someone would ever need fall protection while working on a Lego building.
