Incredible human-like robots stole the show at the 2016 World Robot Conference in Beijing this weekend.
Intelligent droid Jiajia pulled in the crowds as she demonstrated the ability to understand human language, detect facial expressions, and make body movements.
A member of the awe-struck crowd asked her today: "What kind of skills do you have?"
She replied: "I can talk with you. I can recognize faces. I can identify the gender and age of people standing in front of me, and I can detect your facial expressions."
Jiajia was just one of many advanced robots at the exhibition over the weekend that included underwater 'bots, aerospace androids and civil anti-riot robots.
Among the service robots were a domestic cleaning robot, entertainment robot, education robot and a rehabilitation robot.
