'KTX 3rd Most Accurate Bullet Train in Travel Time'

A Swedish media outlet has found that South Korea's KTX bullet train service is the third most accurate in departure and arrival times out of nine countries. 

Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet reported that the finding is based on an analysis of travel records between 2008 and 2015 from nine countries that operate high speed rail.

The paper said that Japan's Shinkansen topped the list with 99 percent of timely departures followed by Spain's AVE(Alta Velocidad Española) at 98 percent and Korea's KTX at 94 percent.

The French TGV scored a timely departure rate of 92 percent and the Eurostar, connecting France and Britain, 91 percent. Italy's ETR(87%), Germany's ICE(79%) and America's Amtrak(77%) trailed the list. Sweden was at the bottom with 66 percent.
