프랑스의 시스트라 컨소시엄이 인도 나그푸르 메트로 1단계사업의 감리사업을 수주했다.
컨소시엄 구성원은 에지스레일, 에이콤, 인도엔지니어링사 등이다.
독일철도청 컨소시엄과 한국 철도공단과 유신이 참여한 스페인의 아예사 컨소시엄이 입찰에 참가했다.
나그푸르 메트로는 2개의 노선으로 구성되어 있으며 북측 19.65km, 동측으로 18.55km다.

SYSTRA Led Consortium Wins Nagpur Metro General Consultancy Contract :
A consortium led by French firm SYSTRA has been awarded the mission of General Consultant for the first phase of the Nagpur Metro Project, in India. SYSTRA’s consortium partners are Egis Rail, AECOM and Indian engineering consultancy company Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES Limited).
The winning team edged out:
A consortium headed by Deutschbahn International GmbH of Germany, partnering with Deutschbahn Projektbau GmbH, Hill International, Oriental Consultants Global Co. Ltd, Balaji Railroad Systems and Padeco.
A consortium headed by Spanish firm Ayesa, partnering with Korean Railway Network Authority (KRNA), Geo Data, Aarvee Associates and Yooshin Engineering Corporation.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), which evaluated the bids, gave 80% weight to technical parameters including experience of the firms and qualifications of their top officers and only 20% to the financial aspect of the bids.

The Nagpur Metro Project consists in two lines:
The 19.65 km North – South Corridor will link the city’s two main gateways from Kamptee to Wardha, with 17 stations; it will serve the city’s current international airport and the future neighbourhood to be built as part of the MIHAN City project, including a new multimodal International Cargo Hub and Airport.
The 18.55 km East – West Corridor will run from Bhandara to Hingna, with 19 elevated stations; it will serve Nagpur’s central train station, the more residential areas of the city as well as the economic hub and its university districts.
The two lines will interconnect at Sitaburdi.

The Government of Maharashtra gave approval for the Metro Project in February 2014. The Indian Union Cabinet gave approval on 20 August 2014 and construction began on 31 May 2015.
French government agency Agence Francaise de Development (AFD) is funding the project.
