  두바이 엑스포 2020 메트로 프로젝트 입찰에서 터키, 이태리 스페인 회사들로 구성된 컨소시엄은 

터키 중국 컨소시엄인 2위 입찰자의 27억불보다도 29%나 낮은  19억불에 입찰을 했다

GS건설이 참여한  3위 입찰 컨소시엄도 2위와 비슷한 가격을 제시했다.


2020 엑스포 메트로는 레드라인의 낙힐항과 타워역과 연결되는 15km의 지선으로 두바이 국제공항과도 연결되어 있다. 15km 중 11km는 고가로 되어 있으며 5개의 고가역과 2개의 지하역사로 구성되어 있다.

Surprise low bid for Dubai Metro’s Route 2020 :A team of Turkey’s Nurol, Italy’s Astaldi and Spain’s Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) has submitted the lowest commercial offer for the contract to design and build the new metro link connecting to the Expo 2020 site.



The group submitted a price of about AED7bn ($1.9bn) with no alternative offer, which is 29 per cent smaller than the second-lowest offer of about AED10bn with no alternative offer.

The scheme, known as Route 2020, involves building a 15-kilometre-long line branching off the existing Red Line at the Nakheel Harbour & Tower station, between the Ibn Battuta Mall and Jumeirah Lake Towers stations. The line will also connect to Al-Maktoum International airport.


About 11km of the line will be elevated, with five elevated stations and two underground stations.
