현대건설 참여 바레인 송전선 건설 1단계 착수 Bahrain PM opens $743m power plant's first phase

   바레인 송전선 건설 1단계 사업이 착수됐다.

이 프로젝트는 히드, 움 알 하삼, 리파 등 3개 지역의 4개의 구간에 송전선을 건설 하게된다.

4개의 구간은 지멘스가 사업을 총괄하며

이태리의 프리스미안그룹과 일본기업이 송전선을 현대는 변압기를 공급한다.

총 7억4천만불 규모의 이 프로젝트는 2017년 12월에 완료된다.

Bahrain PM opens $743m power plant's first phase

Bahrain's Prime Minister has inaugurated the first phase of a $743m (BHD280m) power project. 

The development includes the construction of three electricity transmission lines in Hidd, Um Al Hassam, and Riffa, and a separate package to link them. 

Four work packages comprise overall project works, which are being implemented by Siemens. 

Italy's Prysmian Group and an unnamed Japanese company are supplying transmission lines.

Hyundai will supply transformers for the development.

According to state agency BNA, the project is due for completion in December 2017. 

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa was at the inaguration ceremony of the first phase of a 400kV electricity transmission line. 

Prince Khalifa was shown a scale model of the project, and also taken on a tour of the Hidd Power Station and its accompanying project site. 

Bahrain's energy minister, Dr Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza also attended the ceremony. 

The kingdom's Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) said the project aims to reduce "short circuits" and ensure the safe operation of the equipment to transfer electrical energy from production plants to load centres throughout Bahrain.
