2025년, 세계 경제 3D 프린팅 산업 비중 3천억불 규모

   UAE가 2030년까지 25%의 건물을 3D 프린팅으로 건설하기로 했다.

UAE 수상이자 부통령인 쉐이크 모하메드 빈 라쉬드 알 막토움은 2030년까지 두바이 빌딩의 25%를 3D 프린팅으로 건설할 계획이라고 그의 공식 트위터를 통해서 발표했다.

그는 "2025년까지 세계 경제에 3D 프린팅 산업이 차지하는 비중이 3천억불까지 증가할 것으로 예상하고 있다"고 언급했다.

3D 프린팅 기술의 장점은 비숙련 노동자를 대체할 수 있고 공기 절감에 따라 건설 비용을 줄일 수 있기 때문이다.

이어 "두바이 미래 어젠다는 이미 며칠전에 승인되었으며 이 미래의 전략을 실천에 옮기는 작업들을 착수했다. 경제의 시너지 효과를 낼 수 있는 초석이 될 것"이라고 말했다.

By 2030, 25% of Dubai's buildings will be 3D printed, it has been revealed. 

This announcement was made by the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. 

In a series of updates through his official Twitter account, Dubai's Ruler unveiled the Dubai 3D Printing Strategy. 

HH Sheikh Mohammed said he expects 3D printing will add $300bn to the global economy by 2025. 

"It will also help reduce costs, [the] need for low-skilled labour, and save time.

"Dubai Future Agenda was approved few days ago, [and] we started to execute it by launching strategies [and] initiatives that add value to our economy," HH Sheikh Mohammed said in one update. 

"3D printing will be part of every aspect of our lives," he added. 

Dubai Future Foundation, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Health Authority, and Dubai Holding are expected to deploy the 3D printing strategy in the construction, medical, and consumer sectors.
