안녕하십니까? 마이모던메트의 공동창시자 앨리스 유입니다.
제가 '마이모던메트'를 시작한지도 어언 8년이라는 세월이 흘렀습니다.
저는 6개월 전에 '어드벤처 유'라는 새로운 라이프 스타일 블로그를 시작했습니다.
마이모던메트의 편집장이던 유진 김이 인수했기 때문입니다.
'어드벤처 유'는 나의 가족의 생활 뿐 만아니라 사진에 대한 새로운 나의 시도이기도 합니다
저는 현재 세로운 세계를 알기 위해 정보통신 시스템(INS)를 배우고 있습니다.
오랜 세월 같이 해왔던 사진 관련 활동과 마치 자리를 바꾼 것 같은 느낌입니다.
그동안 8년간 아티스트와 사진작가 디자이너에 대한 작품들을 다룬 마이모던메트를 찾아주시고
사랑해주셔서 감사드립니다.
하지만 새로운 사이트에서도 전과 같이 변함없는 모습을 보게 될 것이며 카테고리를 좀더 넓혀서
나의 개인 생활부분까지도 보여드릴까 합니다.
새로 시작되는 블로그 많이 많이 사랑해주시기 바랍니다. 감사합니다.
앨리스 유에 대하여
한국계 미국인으로 세계적으로 많이 알려진 아트 블로그 '마이모던메트'를 만들어 7년간 운영했다.
남편과 2명의 아들과 남가주에서 살고 있으며 저서로는 'For Love'가 있다.(아래 사진 참조)

It was almost eight years ago that My Modern Met started as a website. About six months ago, I started a new lifestyle blog called Adventures of Yoo and Eugene Kim took over as Editor-in-Chief of My Modern Met.
Adventures of Yoo chronicles the life of my family as well as my new foray into photography. Like many creatives just starting out, I'm learning the ins and out of a new world, and surprisingly, loving every minute. It's like I've switched seats with the photographers that I've written about for so many years. (Talk about a new appreciation for the craft.)
Thank you, visitors of My Modern Met, for making eight years of my life so meaningful. Artists, designers and photographers, I'll still be writing about you on Adventures of Yoo. I won't stop curating art. I'm just expanding my categories and showing you a more personal side to my life. Hi, I’m Alice Yoo, founder of art blog My Modern Met, where I curated and wrote about art, design and photography for the last seven years.
