개교 50년 이하 젊은 세계 대학 랭킹 150 Under 50 Rankings 2016

1위 스위스연방공대

한국포항공대 5위, 카이스트가 6위

  영국의 교육전문 평가기관인 타임스고등교육은 역사가 그리 길지 않은 개교 50년 이하의 세계 랭킹 150대 대학을 선정하여 발표했다.

1위는 스위스연방공대가 차지했으며 아시아에서 4개 대학이 10위 안에 들었다. 2위는 싱가포르 난양 공대가 홍콩과학기술대가 3위로  이름을 올렸으며 한국의 포항공대가 5위, 카이스트가 6위로 2개 대학이 랭크되었다.

150 Under 50 Rankings 2016

The Times Higher Education 150 Under 50 Rankings 2016 is a ranking of the top 150 universities under 50 years old.

It celebrates young universities that have made a great impact on the global stage in years rather than centuries and showcases the future rising university stars.

The table uses the same 13 performance indicators as the flagship Times Higher Education World University Rankings - measuring institutions on their teaching, research, citations, international outlook and knowledge transfer - but the methodology has been recalibrated to give less weight to reputation.
