GPS 측량으로 유명한 트림블사와의 협업 작품으로 지금 사전 예약 시행 중이다.
트림블은 Microsoft Window 10에 건축물 및 구조물의 설계, 건설 및 운영에 품질, 협업 및 효율성을 개선하기 위한
HoloLens 홀로 그래픽 플랫폼과 통합 도구를 개발했다.
그 개념의 실증은 2015년 4월 29일 샌프란시스코에서 개최한 Microsoft 빌드 개발자 컨퍼런스 2015에서 시연되었다.
Microsoft HoloLens는 상업 및 소비자 애플리케이션의 범위에 대한 혼합 현실 환경을 제공하는 헤드 마운트, 홀로 그래픽이다. 건축, 엔지니어링 및 건설 (AEC) 전문가들에 의해 사용하는 경우, HoloLens 장치가 협력, 시각화하는 복잡한 다중 위상 건설 프로젝트의 많은 이해 관계자에 대한 새로운 방법을 만들어, 2D 컴퓨터 화면의 경계를 넘어 3D 모델과의 상호 작용을 확장, 아이디어를 공유하고 변화를 관리 할 수 있다.

Last May, Construction Junkie wrote about the impending release of Microsoft’s holographic headset, coined the HoloLens. Their partnership with Trimble, a construction technology manufacturer, made the technology of more specific interest to the construction industry.
Due to the lack of technology in centuries past, the construction industry has been trying to force three-dimensional building structures into a drawing on a flat piece of paper. This not only made it difficult to detect clashes of building systems, it made it even harder for clients to imagine what their end product would look like. The latter, as we all know, leads to many costly changes to projects, as the building starts to develop.
The Microsoft HoloLens is looking to make a splash in many different industries, but are clearly making a strong push in construction. Their partnership with Trimble will allow them to incorporate Trimble’s cloud platform, the very popular Sketchup, and the V10 Imaging Rover for 360 degree pictures for measurements and visual documentation. The units will ship to the US and Canada on March 30th. By releasing the Development edition, Microsoft is hoping to inspire software developers to create compatible versions of existing software or new software that will bring excitement to the device before full release. It will be interesting to see which construction software developers can figure out how to make their applications work. My immediate hope would be for the major players in project management and construction document markup software take the technology seriously.
