  사우디 국영회사 페트로라빅은 라빅에 건설되는 석유화학플랜트 건설공사에  6개의 회사가 입찰서를 제출했다고 1일 밝혔다.

한 소식통에 의하면 이태리의 마이레 테크니몬트사가 입찰서를 제출했다고 했지만 다른 소식통은 아니라고 주장하고 있다.

프로젝트의 마감시한은 지난 2월 24일까지였으며 작년 10월 페트로라빅은 석유화학플랜트가 올해 하반기에는 착수해야한다고 밝힌 바 있다.

로이터 보도에 따르면 페트로라빅사는 6개의 입찰사에 대해 일체 함구하고 있다고 전했다.

PetroRabigh receive six bids for construction work

Saudi Arabia's PetroRabigh has received up to six bids from foreign engineering companies for the construction of new units at its petrochemical and refining complex in Rabigh, according to sources.

Maire Tecnimont are understood to have submitted a bid, one source said. However, a second source said the Italian company had ultimately decided against bidding.

Bids for construction work were due to be submitted by February 24, 2016.

In October 2015, PetroRabigh revealed work was due to begin on the petrochemical and refining complex in the second half of 2016.

PetroRabigh has made no comment on the bids received, Reuters reported.
