   이란이 총 80억불 규모의 인프라 프로젝트에 인도의 투자를 제안했으며, 테헤란의 Imam Khomeini International Airport 2단계 확장에도 참여를 제안했다.

최근 이루어진 이란 대표단의 인도 방문에서 이란 측은 철도, 항만, 교량, 철도 전철화 등의 인프라 프로젝트에 인도의 투자를 희망했다고 인도 주재 이란 대사가 Economic Times에 밝혔다.

대사는 서방의 대이란 제재 기간중에도 인도가 이란과의 거래를 유지해온 사실을 감안하면 인도는 대이란 투자에 있어 우선적인 대우를 받을 것이라고 언급했다.
