그의 작품은 굉장히 단순하면서 삭막한 극지의 흑백 그늘을 강조하는 색조차 사용하지 않는다.

Kyriakos Kaziras' images capture the surprisingly humanistic qualities within the wildlife of the icy North and South Poles. His ongoing projects, titled White Dream Arctic and White Dream Antarctic, reveal the many moods of the polar bears and penguins in their natural environments of the Arctic and Antarctic, respectively. The French artist's stunning photography is powerfully simple, the absence of colour emphasizing the infinite shades of black and white of the stark environment. Despite this, his monochromatic portraits have a tender quality to them as the intelligence and quirks of the animals he photographs shine through.

Kaziras is able to transport his audience to the icy lands through his viewfinder, creating an intimate connection with the families of bears and penguins that he encounters. For four years, he has amassed a collection of polar pictures from numerous expeditions to the far North and South; his ability to withdraw the character and the soul of these wild animals within his images makes for a stunning portfolio.

An “ode to the beauty and the preservation of nature,” Kaziras has accumulated many of his snapshots into one book titled Arctic Emotion, in which he visually explores the harmonious relationship between polar bears and the local Inuits just south of the North Pole.
