폴란드 건축회사가 작년에 공개한 두바이의 7성급 호텔 부르즈 알 아랍 인근의 수중 테니스코트 건설이 

현실화될 것으로 보인다.

이번 주 초 아랍비니지스지에 따르면 최초 제안자인 코탈라가 유력한 투자자와 논의 중이라고 보도했다.

카본 유리 돔으로 덮힌 총 7개의 코트가 건설될 예정이다.

Plans for an underwater tennis stadium off the coast of Dubai look set to move closer to reality, according to the Polish architect behind the project. 

Krzysztof Kotala hit global headlines last year when he unveiled the initial designs for the proposed Underwater Dubai Tennis Centre. 

Speaking to Arabian Business ealier this week, Kotala revealed he is in talks with potential investors in a bid to make the project a reality. 

The initial designs for the project, which will be located near the Burj al Arab hotel, featured seven arenas with a carbon-glass glazed dome above the court. 

“This will be something original. This should be somewhere where there is the tradition of tennis. Dubai is perfect for this idea,” Kotala said in April 2015.
